We help you reclaim your social life!

The original idea of a network of professional babysitters sprung from our own friends who need reliable, experienced child babysitters to baby-sit on special occasions or on a daily routine with absolute confidence and trust. Then we realized the Riviera Maya was growing very quickly and with so much to do, parents needed our services.

Today we are an enthusiastic, responsible and dedicated team known as Kangaroo, and are able to provide event, resort or residential babysitting in all the Riviera Maya: Kids Care- Anywhere!

Our aim is to provide busy parents with a convenient, reliable and trustworthy service so they can enjoy an active, stress-free social life. Let us delight you too by providing experienced babysitters just when you need them.

I initially started babysitting in Madrid, where I am from. I never thought I would babysit for so many years, but I fell in love with it, and I’m happy I found my vocation so early. I became friends with many of the expatriates living and enjoying Madrid’s life. I then continued working in summer camps with kids of all ages. I learnt a lot working at U.C.P.A in France where I passed my BAFA certificate (an outdoor activities diploma for working with kids).

I also became involved with the extra school activities and coached a girl´s volleyball team. Working then in Summer Camp Montana, Switzerland gave me more experience with teenagers. Finally I went on to University at Leeds, UK, where I graduated from Sport, Health and Leisure with Management.

Since then I have always continued on a path directed to sports or activities with kids. I can really now say how much I enjoyed all those years, and how much I have learnt from children. Sometimes it may have seemed like a challenge but always a positive outcome.

Still being in touch with my nanny Christine (that’s right I had a nanny when I was a toddler) and keeping contact with many of the families who I baby sat for, has been a pleasure. And now finding myself here in Playa de Carmen, after having accomplished myself in several jobs, I realized the need this community has in finding trustworthy people who share the joys of childhood. So I am grateful to be able to gather some of my skills and work in something so rewarding as children are.
